An exercise in making a live data feed feel considered rather than dashboard-like — the same problem many brand and culture clients bring us.
Approach
Data with a point of view
Transit positions are abstracted into a slow-moving field of marks rather than a literal map, so the piece reads as atmosphere first, information second.
Runs indefinitely
Built to run unattended as an ambient installation piece, with graceful degradation when the live feed is unavailable.
